Probiotics have been shown to have many beneficial effects in the body. One of the recommendations from the GAPS Diet is to use commercial probiotics without any prebiotics or other prohibited ingredients. I think this is a sensible suggestion for anyone with a sensitive GI tract. It can be hard to find hypoallergenic probiotics. To help, this list is intended as a comprehensive list of GAPS compliantĀ probiotics which are dairy-free, soy-free, and prebiotic-free. If you notice any errors or omissions in this list, please comment to let me know. Someday I hope to add information about the strains and any fillers, but this will do as a reference for now. Anything fromĀ Corganic is good. Start with GutPro Infant for a baby or FPIES child of any age. It’s worth the price, and make sure to get the spoons.
Any of the probiotics from Custom Probiotics are good. I recommend buying the samples first to figure out what is tolerated.
I hope this helps, and if I have overlooked a probiotic, or if you spot a problematic ingredient, please let me know.
What about GutPro?
That’s one of the ones made by Corganic. Its definitely a good option. I linked to all of their probiotics.
